Fascist Ordinance upheld by pigs
Deputies B. Brawner, left, and J. Larson arrest an unidentified woman after she reportedly put a banner back on the fence, violating the county’s new ordinance restricting protesting in front of the Humboldt County Courthouse in Eureka on Wednesday afternoon. After warnings and copies of the ordinance were given out, and a deadline of 4 p.m. for removing banners and signs from the fence was set, sheriff’s deputies took them down, officials said. The activists no longer have a tarp shelter on the site and moved almost all of their items onto the sidewalk, which is city property.
